I actually don't like any of the Final Fantasies beyond 3.

Your not playing FF13 for the story, your doing it because this time square did something new with the mechanics and you should try it already.

I don't play RPGs for the story, usually. Which is odd, considering almost every RPG out there is story-driven.

Quest 64 and Grandia Xtreme both bombed because of their general lack of a compelling story, but I found them to be diamonds in the rough.

Don't get me wrong, if the story's good, I'll pay attention to and get into it.

But the way I see it, an RPG doesn't NEED a good, deep, compelling story to be a good game.


...Prolly why I think FF1 is the best FF.

Weeeelllll Tales of the World:Radiant Mythology sucked BECAUSE of it's lack of a story period ._.

I don't care if that game lacks a story, I LOVE Tales, I LOVE the combat system, and I've always wanted a customizable character in a Tales game.

Getting it as soon as a used copy's available around my house.
